"The Reflex" was topping the chart and would prove to be their last UK no. 1. The single became Duran Duran's first of two singles to hit no. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 on 23 June 1984 and was a huge hit internationally.
At first, this song seems to have a very deep concept, but really the band just recorded it over a couple of bottles of wine. Simon Le Bon ( lead singer ) said he has no clue what it means.
