"Sleeping Satellite" was the debut single by the British singer songwriter Tasmin Archer, released in September 1992. The song was a number one hit in the United Kingdom and was also an international hit.
The song remains Archer's only charting single in the United States, peaking there at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May 1993 and number 24 on the Adult Contemporary chart. However, it did reach number 12 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and this was the song's best showing on any chart in the US.
